How long have you worked at Datashredders?
A year and a half.

Describe your typical day at Datashredders.
I come in, pick up the vehicle keys and paperwork for the day’s jobs, load what I need for the day onto the vehicle, hit the road, complete my shredding jobs as quickly and efficiently as possible, come back, fill up with diesel, unload the van, park it up, hang the keys up, sort out paperwork, check if anything else needs doing, check paperwork and what time I need to be in for the following day, tea run, hometime!

What’s the best part of your job?
Driving the shredding vehicles, the people I work with, the various places that I visit and the various people I meet.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever shredded?
Sorry – that’s confidential information.

What are your hobbies?
Fishing, skiing, shooting, cycling, canoeing, entertaining, the kids, birdwatching and hunting.

What’s your favourite film?
A Czech film called Story of a Godfather.

What’s your favourite food?
Indian – lamb passanda is on top of my list!

Get in early and do the best job I can to keep Datashredders and our customers happy. It’s always a pleasure and never a chore!

What’s the best part of your job?
I like to do a good job and hopefully put a smile on customers’ faces so they use Datashredders again!

What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever shredded?
At one of H.M. prisons we stopped the shredder before a mobile phone went through. The prison officers were very excited at this find!

What are your hobbies?
Classic cars, restoration, house construction and DIY.

What’s your favourite film?
The Italian Job (1969).

What’s your favourite food?
Curry and bread pudding – but not on the same plate!
