If you have ever wondered what actually happens when we do ‘on site document destruction’ let us take you through the process.
We go to many locations every week, including Cambridge, Peterborough, Norwich etc. So you will often see our trucks in your town.
Once on site, our driver will have parked the truck as close to the building as possible, so that the documents travel as little as possible. He will make himself known to the receptionist or Facilities manager. Then depending on the amount of bin or bins will go collect them to take outside
For your peace of mind, all of our Operatives are uniformed, wear ID, have 10 year background checks and are vetted to BS 7858. We are fully compliant with European Information Destruction Standards – BS EN 15713:2009 and our Quality Management System is regularly inspected and has been accredited to the ISO 9001: 2008 standard.
Once outside and into the truck, the bin is unlocked for the 1st time. The documents are fed into our shredder. We repeat the process until all the bins are done
After completion our operative will then fill out our Certificate of Destruction, which we ask you to sign as well. The certificate is also a Waste Transfer Note containing your Waste Hierarchy Declaration.
We keep a copy and there is a copy for you, for your records.
We are in many locations several times a week, and can take away as little or as much as your require. We can set up a routine which is weekly, bi weekly, Monthly or simply as you require.
Depending on our route planning, we can be with you as early as 7am and continue our work throughout the day to 5.30pm.
