Our drivers’ first port of call tends to be the furthest location from Datashredders HQ on their list, before working their way back down to Cambridgeshire, making stops at client premises along the way to take care of all their data shredding needs.
Here’s Mikey’s typical Monday route. Mikey sets off at an eye-wateringly early 4 o’clock on Monday morning, travelling over 100 miles from Datashredders’ shredding base to Stafford in the West Midlands before visiting clients in the towns of Rugeley and Cannock, followed by a trip to our customers in Coventry. From there, Mikey travels southeast to Lutterworth, then Market Harborough, then Corby, before returning to Datashredders HQ in mid-afternoon.
MICHAEL LARHAM – 298.945 miles
Thought Mikey’s Monday was an undertaking? Michael Larham’s Thursday tops that! Setting off at 3.15am, Michael makes the two-hour, 126-mile trip from Wimblington to Wakefield, where he visits some of Datashredders’ northernmost customers. Mikey then makes Yorkshire shredding stops in Castleford and Barnsley before visiting a number of domestic and commercial customers in Sheffield. Michael then travels further south to the market town of Chesterfield, Derbyshire – but we must stress that he’s far too busy shredding confidential waste to do any shopping! Michael then drives a short distance to visit customers in Mansfield, before returning to base.
